File this under pictures I will regret taking. I can see Mal looking at this picture in 5 years and asking me, "Dad what we are doing here?" I will tell him that we are digging a sandbox. Then he will ask me why I never finished it... On the other hand, since there is a picture, I may be more likely to finish it.
Personal notes from this experience:
1) Put on gloves before starting to dig
2) Don't wear flip flops when digging
3) Potty training and outside projects go well together
