Mr. Sarasohn x 2

Breakfast if Jake's meal.  He is the most religious breakfast eater I had ever met...that is before we had 3 kids age 2 and under.  Lately, Jake is having to jet out the door without breakfast pretty often.

Friday, Malachy and I decided to pick up some bagels and surprise him at work. (Jake has 2 periods without students, so we could see him and not disturb his classes).

It has been so long since Malachy has been to Jake's school, he didn't remember anything about it.  When I told him where we were doing, he became absolutely giddy with excitement and was bouncing like a maniac.  I have not seen him this excited in a while.  He peppered me with questions about what Jake had at his school.  A few examples include:

 - Does Daddy have a back hoe at his school?
 - Does Daddy have artist stuff at his school?
 - Does Daddy have play-dough at his school?
 - Is teacher Gary at Daddy's school?

When we got there, it took forever to get to Jake's classroom because the black top was full of puddles.  Malachy had to jump in every single one on the way to the classroom.
Stomping his way to Jake's class
Jake was indeed surprised to see us.  Sadly, while we had his favorite lox bagel with us, it was the one morning of the week that he did manage to eat breakfast before he left.

Food snafu aside, Malachy had a fantastic time playing in the classroom, and even got to "help" Daddy teach a class. While he was somewhat disappointed there was not a slide or back hoe, he was very impressed by the swimming pool.  Before the class started, Malachy had fun writing on and erasing the white board.  When the kids started coming in the class, he was Mr. personality, giving kids high 5's and saying hi.  The kids were of course in love with Malachy.  Every time he said anything, there was a collective "aaaawwwwwwwww" from the kids.
Why is everyone raising their hand?
Helping Daddy teach numbers

Passing out papers
When Mr. Sarasohn started teaching, Malachy was fascinated by the numbers flashing on the projector screen and was calling the numbers out.  When it was time to pass out papers, Malachy was a very willing assistant.  While the class continued with their lesson, Malachy kept busy by typing on the computer and stamping papers.

Both Mr. Sarasohns are still taking about their day at school together.
