Malachy has been wandering around the house for the past week asking "What time is it?" For the first few days, we we fine to just give him answer, but now he wants to know what is means when you say it is 3:23. I think he uses it as a way to fill the very rare moments when he is not talking about something else. If there is ever a moment of silence, surely we will hear a "What time is it?" from Malachy soon.
I am sure he got this from Jake, who takes his watch off as soon as he gets home and then asks me what time it is a zillion times a day.
For his own amusement, Jake has started asking Malachy what time it is...and just like his father, he answers the question, very confidently, even though he has no idea what he is talking about.
